The new law that prohibits boat mooring at public road ends on the lake is discriminatory against owners that do not have lakefront property. It is simply not practical to have to haul a boat some 5 to 6 miles to and from the campground launching site each and every day. One of the principal reasons that we bought our property at Lake Margrethe is because we were very close to a public access road and we could moor our boat day and night while we vacationed. Without this privilege it becomes prolematical as to whether or not we should keep our property. Of course, now that the law has changed, any prospective buyer of our property will have one fewer reason to purchase. I can't help but think that I am only one of many Lake Margarethe property owners who believe they have been screwed by the government once again. This law is not conducive to retaining property values for those of us who are not fortunate enough to have lakefront property. What are other owners in my position telling you about their feelings regarding this law? Thank you. Jon & Peggy Wolfe
