According to Joe Porter, our resident lake watcher, Lake Margrethe became covered with ice on December 18, 2011. This date for the lake to become frozen is 9 days later than the previous three-year average for this beginning of the winter season.

The Boat Parade will occur on July 4, starting in North Bay at 2:00 pm.
