Our Lake, Our Responsibility.
The Association has five objectives:
1. To preserve and protect the natural beauty of Lake Margrethe and surrounding area.
2. To enhance the great natural resources in it and recreational facilities of the lake
and surrounding areas.
3. To support the Department of Natural Resources in its effort to improve fish habitat
and recreational facilities.
4. To support an orderly development of the water and land area of the lake.
5. To promote the interest, rights and safety of property owners in the area.
In order to work toward fulfilling these objectives, everyone who enjoys the lake needs to understand the pressures on its ecosystem. The tabs under the environment section will give you information about a variety of issues. We hope this will help you stay informed and enable you to make educated decisions when enjoying life on the lake.
"A lake is a landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is the earth's eye; looking into which, the beholder measures the depth of his own nature."
