BEARS
Many members of the LMPOA have been posting Facebook pictures of bears on and near the lake. There have been some dangerous interactions between people and animals. The DNR rep, Tim Riley, has requested that we take our responsibility seriously to remove temptations. This includes bird feeders, barbeque grills, any and all containers with food that are accessible. Tim also recommended that if a bear is on your property, banging pots and pans is a good solution. Bears remember negative experiences and will tend to avoid coming to that area again.
